HopeCon
What is HopeCon you ask?
Simple answer: HopeCon is an in-person conference for anyone to attend who is in Hopeful Disasters online community. It is an opportunity to meet many people we've been "doing life with" in person, some for the very first time!
We gather together, worship, learn, experience the quiet with God, engage in small group break outs, and of course there is food and lots and lots of laughter!
HopeCon 2026 will be at High Hill Christian Camp
on October 1st-4th. Hope to see you there!
REAL LIFE COMMUNITY
We have built an amazing online community, with more than 800 members, through the Hopeful Disasters discord channel and now we want to give everyone the opportunity to meet in person, grow in our friendship and in our faith together!
HopeCon 2024 was held in the Seattle area and was a big step of faith. We were so encouraged as people from across the country as well as across the world gathered together, in-person to grow in intimacy with God. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, growing in depth of community and in our individual walks with Jesus. Hebrews 10: 24-25 was played out as we met together, were encouraged by one another's stories and bolstered on towards the work that God has for us next as we headed back to our respective places in this world.
HD's desire is to have all who want to attend be able to. We are always raising funds towards scholarships so that there will be a way for all to Be There!
HopeCon 2025 was held in the St. Louis, Missouri area at a Christian Camp. It was such a joy to gather again with close friends that we had made last year, and to create new friendships as there were many new faces as well! This year was a powerful time together, as God was worshipped through praise, quiet time, confession of sins, prayer and teachings. We had 3 baptisms which was definitely a high point for all!
